The Zambian kwacha (sign:K; code:ZMW) is the currency of Zambia. It is subdivided into 100 ngwee.Since January 1, 2013, the face value of the currency has been reformed. The ratio of the face value of the new currency to the face value of the old currency is 1:1000, and the name of the new currency is still Kwacha ZMW. The new notes are 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 Kwacha
