Watermark

A multitone watermark of the sculptures bearing lamps from the main entrance to the Central Bank of Bosnia & Herzegovina in Sarajevo. Below the sculpture theme, each KM denomination has its own highlight watermark showing the value of the banknote. The watermark is visible under transmitted light, i.e. when the banknote is held up against the light.

See-through registar

When the banknote is held up against the light, printed elements on the front side and the back side of the banknote fit together to form the shape of a rhombus.

Iridescent stripe

A 10 mm wide vertical iridescent stripe is applied on the banknote. The stripe displays the “KM” denomination mark and number 20. When seen at different angles, the stripe has an iridescent effect and changes color.

Intaglio printing

Intaglio printing is used on the front side of the banknote in the marked areas and can be felt with the fingertips.
